Denver Carter of Magee recently served as a page for the Mississippi House Representatives. Pages generally run errands for officials and House staff.
Carter, 17, is the son of Denver and Amarily Carter, and he is a junior at Simpson Academy. He was sponsored by Speaker Jason White (R – Attala, Carroll, Holmes, Leake).
When asked about his experience as a page, Carter said, “I loved serving as page for the House of Representatives and getting to form many new connections. Thank you to Speaker White for this opportunity, and I can’t wait to come back next year.”
