Lee wins special election for alderman

Special election results are in for the Mendenhall Alderman Ward 1 position. Judy Lee will serve as the next Alderwoman of Ward 1. The election was held on Tuesday, December 15, between the only two qualifying candidates Josh Hankins and Judy Lee.

The City of Mendenhall is preparing for a special election to fill a vacancy for the Alderman of Ward 1 position. 
Former Alderman Donnie Thomas recently resigned from his position due to no longer living within the ward.

Ryan French was able to share her Christmas list with Santa and Mrs. Claus during the Merry Mendenhall Christmas celebration last Friday. Apporximately 75 children visited Santa during the event.

The Mendenhall Chamber of Commerce hosted a Merry Mendenhall Christmas last Friday in downtown Mendenhall. 
Main Street stores were open for Christmas sales, activities were held in  Alice Davis Park, where Christmas music and decorations were enjoyed by all. The highlight of the event was a special visit from Santa and Mrs. Claus.
