Sis. Mildred Price was born October 7, 1928, to PJ and Mae Hubbard of Magee, MS. Mildred professed her hope in Christ at an early age at Magee First Baptist Church. As a member of First Baptist, she was a devoted usher, actively served on the Pastor’s Aid Committee and worked faithfully in the Mission Department.
She was united in matrimony to S.P. Price. S.P. and Mildred were blessed with nine children whom she loved very much. Her husband, SP Price, preceded Mildred in death. Her daughter, Ruby Price, her sons, AJ Price (died shortly after being born), Jimmy Price, and Melvin Price also preceded her in death.
To cherish her memories, she leaves five children, Essie Gray, Linda Hayes, Carol (Robert) Lofton, Charles (Luvenia) Price, and John Larry (Betty) Price; three brothers, Tommie Hubbard, Vernon Hubbard, and Charles Allen Hubbard; two) daughters-in-law, Jessie Price and Jackie Price; 12 grandchildren, 33 great-grandchildren, 13 great-great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends to mourn her passing.
A visitation for friends was held on Sunday, March 24, 2024, at Tutor Funeral Home in Magee, MS from 4 p.m. until 6 p.m. Services were on Monday, March 25, at 11 a.m. at Magee First Baptist Church with interment following in Gregory Cemetery.
Arrangements were entrusted to Tutor Funeral Home of Magee.
