The Simpson County Country Club and Chef Darwell Yeager are discussing the possibility of expanding their restaurant business to the Simpson County Country Club.
Chef Darwell and his wife, Nettie, have met with the club leadership and there are discussion on the table on opening an outlet of Darwell’s Happiness Cafe in the clubhouse.
They currently are operating a similar operation at the County Club in Forest. Darwell’s experience comes from partering with his father at the famous Darwell’s Restaurant in Long Beach. He also trained with Gulf Coast chefs, Chappy Chapman, Bill Vrazel and has also appeared on Guy Fieri’s Food Network Show-Diners, Drive-ins and Dives.
Darwell’s wife Nettie is a renowned pastry chef and specializes in the “happiness” in the form of homemade desserts.
