The Nation's Weather for Wednesday, October 25, 2023
_____
NATIONAL SUMMARY
A potent storm will bring showers and thunderstorms over a
large area stretching from Michigan southwestward through
New Mexico and much of Texas tomorrow. Some locally heavy
rain will fall, especially in northern Texas and central
Oklahoma. However, nearly all of the rain will be beneficial
due to a large and serious drought. Steady snow will affect
portions of Montana, while temperatures drop as another
strong storm continues to move across the region. Snow can
be heavy at times across northern Montana. This same storm
can bring some rain, drizzle and mountain snow to areas of
Northern California, Washington and Oregon. High pressure
will continue to bring dry and pleasant conditions to the
Northeast and much of the Southeast.
