The Nation's Weather for Wednesday, March 20, 2024
_____
NATIONAL SUMMARY
A storm will spread snow across the Northeast and eastern
Great Lakes tomorrow, while lake-effect snow will continue
along the western Great Lakes. Any heavier snow showers
across these regions can briefly reduce visibility. From
southern Pennsylvania to southern New England, precipitation
will fall mainly as rain showers. Meanwhile, thunderstorms
can develop in Texas and Oklahoma during the afternoon and
at night. Some thunderstorms can become strong enough to
produce locally damaging wind gusts and hail, mainly in the
Texas Panhandle and in Oklahoma. The Four Corners region
will again have some rain or snow showers through the day.
Farther north, another storm will begin to bring showers to
the Northwest, and snow will spread across Montana and North
Dakota. Dry and mild weather will continue in the Southeast.
