The Nation's Weather for Wednesday, April 24, 2024
_____
NATIONAL SUMMARY
A storm will begin to move off the coast of the Northeast
tomorrow, bringing showers from this region to as far south
as South Carolina. Steadier rain can fall in northern New
England. Rain can begin to mix with snow at times, mainly in
the higher elevations of New York, Vermont, New Hampshire
and Maine. As this storm exits the region, gusty winds from
the north will bring colder air into the region. Meanwhile,
a developing storm will spread showers and thunderstorms
from Nebraska to eastern Texas. Thunderstorms can develop
from Northern California to southern Wyoming by the
afternoon hours. As a new storm travels eastward off the
coast of the Northwest, showers can begin across western
Washington. Much of the interior Southwest as well as the
Midwest will remain dry.
