NATIONAL SUMMARY
Francine will deliver flooding rain and isolated tornadoes
to southwestern Kentucky, western and central Tennessee,
northeastern Mississippi, northern and eastern Alabama and
northwestern Georgia tomorrow. Elsewhere in the region,
thunderstorms will rumble from the Carolinas to Florida.
Many of the storms on the Florida Peninsula are expected in
the afternoon. Also in the Southeast, unusually rough surf
and rip currents will stir up the ocean along the coast of
the Carolinas. Steady rain will come to an end in Montana as
a storm pulls northward into Canada. A few thundershowers
are likely in the eastern Dakotas. A few spotty afternoon
showers could dampen northeastern New York, Vermont, New
Hampshire and Maine. The Southwest and southern Plains will
have a dry day.
