NATIONAL SUMMARY
Thunderstorms can bring hail and damaging winds from
southeastern Colorado and southwestern Kansas to western
Texas tomorrow. Farther east, beneficial rain may come at
the risk of localized flooding from south-central Kansas to
northern Texas. Showers will dampen the east coast of
Florida, while afternoon showers and even thundershowers
work their way inland and westward across the central and
southern Florida Peninsula. Rain and mountain snow showers
will expand in coverage in the West, although northwestern
and Southern California will largely stay dry. A dry day is
also expected in the Southwest, northern Plains, Great
Lakes, New England and the mid-Atlantic. Temperatures above
the historical average will be felt across the South,
although few, if any, record highs are expected.
