The Nation's Weather for Tuesday, October 11, 2022
_____
NATIONAL SUMMARY
As an area of high pressure slides eastward tomorrow, mainly
sunny skies and increasing temperatures are expected from
the Carolinas to New England, as winds from the south help
end the stretch of chilly conditions in the region. Along
the Florida Peninsula, increased moisture may lead to a few
showers and thunderstorms, especially during the afternoon
hours. In the north-central United States, thunderstorms may
develop from eastern Kansas, to central Minnesota. While
most storms are likely to stay below severe limits, a few
could produce locally damaging wind gusts. Across the West,
mainly dry conditions are likely. However, a few showers or
thunderstorms could develop during the afternoon in the
Arizona, and Southern California mountains.
