The Simpson County Board of Supervisors held their recessed meeting on November 15.
Drew Padget spoke with the board about establishing a rubbish pit in the county, explaining that he needs a letter saying that the board will allow him to establish the pit.

Church gearing up for 23rd community lunch

On the morning of Thanksgiving at least 12 men can be found around the huge island in the kitchen at Christ Fellowship Church pulling meat off the bones of many, many smoked turkeys to feed the hungry. It is a tradition that is 23 years old.
