From classic automobiles to an early morning fun run there was something at this year’s Chamber of Commerce Crazy Day to suit the entire family.
The day started with the annual run sponsored by Peoples Bank and quickly moved up town to Main Avenue. There, students from the Magee Show Band entertained the crowds along with the cheerleaders.
MHS Head Coach Teddy Dyess encouraged the town to turn out and support the school programs. Dr. Paul Lawrence addressed the crowd about the recent accomplishments at the Magee Elementary. The elementary recently received a B rating from the State Department of Education.
There was live entertainment throughout the day around the downtown area. You name it and it was there, rock and roll, blue grass as well as traditional gospel music.
The children had a chance to select their pumkins for halloween from a new venue, a pumpkin patch.
Vendors offered everything from furniture to jewelry.
