Edward S. Hunt, 77, passed away on Tuesday, January 2, 2018, at his residence in Houston, TX. He was born on May 13, 1940, to the late Cara Swinton Hunt and Emma Lee Gilbert of Kosciusko, MS.
Ed worked many years as the manager for Sun Finance in Magee.
He is survived by his wife, Bera (Kelly) Hunt; daughter, Toni Hunt Pittman (John); stepdaughters, Cindi Bumann (Tim), Sharon Soto (Robert), Sara Woods (Paul); stepson, David Catter; brothers, Emmett Hunt (Carolyn), Joe Hunt (Linda), Dale Hunt; sisters, Joyce Madden, Theresa Nobles; sixteen grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Visitation for friends will be held on Friday, January 5, 2018, at Tutor Funeral Home in Magee, MS. from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. There will be a graveside service on Saturday, January 6, at 11:30 a.m. at Coleman Cemetery in McAdams, MS.
