The Magee Police Department recently celebrated the graduation of their newest officer, Timothy Dossett, from the police academy.
After enduring grueling weeks of physical training, academic challenges, and intense stress simulations, Officer Dossett proved his resilience, dedication, and commitment to serving his community.
Now that he has completed this significant milestone, Officer Dossett will be assigned to one of the departments’ two certified Field Training Officers (FTOs). During this phase, he will gain hands-on experience, further honing the skills and knowledge acquired at the academy. This vital training ensures that he is fully prepared to deliver the highest level of professional service to the citizens of Magee and the thousands of visitors who pass through the city daily.
