Robert Dale Hughes passed away on December 27, 2025. He was born to Charles Elmer Hughes and Eva Lois Martin on September 16, 1957.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles Elmer Hughes and Eva Lois Martin; and brother, Leslie Hughes.
He is survived by his daughters, Brandy Dye (George) and Raven Varnes (Jeffrey); brothers, Burt Hughes (Robin), and Charles Hughes; sister-in-law, Lydia Hughes; grandchildren, Ryder Madox, Brailey Varnes, Ava Varnes, Elaina Varnes, Tanis Blakeney, Devin Blakeney, Kobie Dye (Ryleigh), and Justen Dye (Pearl); and great-grandchildren, Emma Blakeney, Axel Blakeney, Rynlee Dye, and Ridge Dye.
A memorial service will be held on Sunday, January 11, 2026, at Shady Grove Church of God at 2 p.m. Visitation will be from 1 p.m. until 2 p.m. with a reception to follow after the service.
