Cougars squeak by Lamar 28-27

The Simpson Academy Cougars notched their biggest win of the season with a 28-27 victory over the Lamar Raiders last Friday night.
With the victory the Cougars are now first place in their district and have extended their win streak to 5 games.

Last Friday the Mendenhall Tigers won their Homecoming matchup against the Morton Panthers. The Tigers were 4 and 2 going into the match while Morton was 3 and 3. This is the Tigers’ second district win of the season.
