Simpson 9 PCS 6-Getting hits for Simpson were Hooks Harvey two singles and an RBI, Noah Magee a grand slam homerun, a single and 4 RBI’s, Mason Kennedy a homerun and 3 RBI’s and Noah Freeman an RBI.
Pitching for Simpson were Caleb Garner 2 innings with 4 strikeouts, Mason Kennedy 3 innings with a strikeout, and Noah Magee 2 innings with 4 strikeouts. The win started Simpson’s record at 1-0 on the season.

Pitching for Simpson were John Cole Giordano 5 innings with 7 strikeouts, and Noah Magee 2 innings with 6 strikeouts. The win improved Simpson’s record to 2-0 on the season.
JV Games
In JV action Simpson defeated Presbyterian Christian 2-1 and 6-4.
The Cougars will host Leake Academy on Thursday, February 21, with the JV starting at 4 p.m. and the varsity to follow. The Cougars will travel to Mendenhall High School on Saturday, February 23, to play in the Simpson County Classic starting at 10 a.m. The Cougars will host Brookhaven Academy on Monday, February 25, with the JV starting at 4 p.m. and the varsity to follow.
