Bowling Green
Simpson 72 Bowling Green 35-Scoring for Simpson were TK Catchings with 29 points, Morgan Griffith 19, Alissa Brewer 8, Gracie Bowen 6, Anna Claire Walker 4, Mollie Jones 2, Alexis Sullivan 2, and Ma’Nia Womack 2. The win improved Simpson’s record to 10-1 on the season.
Leake Academy
Leake 69 Simpson 48-Scoring for Simpson were Morgan Griffith with 21 points, TK Catchings 16, Alissa Brewer 6, Alexis Sullivan 2, Anna Claire Walker 2, and Maddie Moody 1. The loss dropped SCA’s record to 10-2 on the season.

Simpson 89 Bowling Green 53-Scoring for Simpson were Bowen Kelly with 22 points, Thomas Pepper 20, Joseph Berry 17, Morgan Leonard 11, Layton Brown 6, Hunter Cline 4, Warner Watkins 4, Josh Flynt 2, Jered Smith 2, and Drew Williams 1. The win improved Simpson’s record to 4-3 on the season.
Leake Academy
Simpson 64 Leake 42-Scoring for Simpson were Bowen Kelly with 19 points, Hunter Cline 15, Joseph Berry 13, Josh Flynt 10, Layton Brown 3, Morgan Leonard 2, and Warner Watkins 2.
The win improved Simpson’s record to 5-3 on the season.
Junior High Games
In Junior High action the Simpson girls lost to Leake 49-17 and the Simpson boys defeated Leake 54-44.
The Cougars will travel to Piney Woods School in Piney Woods on Thursday, December 6, with the varsity girls starting at 6:00 p.m. followed by the varsity boys. The Cougars will travel to the Jackson Victors at the Old Brandon Elementary on Friday, December 7, with the junior high girls starting at 4:30 p.m. followed by the junior high boys, varsity girls, and varsity boys. The Cougars will travel to MRA in Madison on Monday, December 10, with the 7th grade boys starting at 5:00 p.m. followed by the 8th grade boys. The Cougars will travel to Taylorsville High School Tuesday, December 11, with the varsity girls starting at 6:00 p.m. followed by the varsity boys.
