Hartfield Academy
Simpson 57 Hartfield 40 -Scoring for Simpson were Morgan Griffith with 17 points, TK Catchings 16, Maddie Moody 8, Alissa Brewer 6, Gracie Bowen 5, Anna Claire Walker 3, and Sabra Hubbard 2. The win improved Simpson’s record to 2-0 in district play and 19-2 on the season.

Leake Academy

Junior High Games
In Junior High action the Simpson girls lost to Hartfield 24-16 and Leake 46-19. The Simpson boys lost to Hartfield 59-45 and defeated Leake 61-57.
The Cougars will travel to Lamar School in Meridian on Friday, January 18, with the 7th grade boys starting at 3:00 p.m. followed by the junior high girls, junior high boys, varsity girls, and varsity boys. The Cougars will travel to East Rankin in Pelahatchie on Tuesday, January 22, with the junior high girls starting at 4:00 p.m. followed by the junior high boys, varsity girls, and boys.
