East Rankin Academy
East Rankin 53 Simpson 47 -Scoring for Simpson were Morgan Griffith with 20 points, TK Catchings 15, Alissa Brewer 6, Anna Claire Walker 4, and Alexis Sullivan 2. The loss dropped Simpson’s record to 3-2 in district play and 21-5 on the season.
Hartfield Academy
Simpson 79 Hartfield 48-Scoring for Simpson were Alissa Brewer with 24 points,TK Catchings 15, Morgan Griffith 15, Maddie Moody 7, Anna Claire Walker 6, Sabra Hubbard 5, Gracie Bowen 3, Kristin Busby 2, and Ma’Nia Womack 2. The win improved Simpson’s record to 4-2 in district play and 22-5 on the season.

East Rankin Academy
Simpson 62 East Rankin 51 -Scoring for Simpson were Bowen Kelly with 20 points, Josh Flynt 13, Layton Brown 8, Hunter Cline 8, Joseph Berry 6, Daniel Pepper 5, and Thomas Pepper 2.
The win improved Simpson’s record to 3-2 in district play and 16-7 on the season.
Hartfield Academy
Simpson 58 Hartfield 37-Scoring for Simpson were Joseph Berry with 16 points, Hunter Cline 12, Bowen Kelly 11, Josh Flynt 7, Thomas Pepper 6, Todd Larkin 4, and Layton Brown 2. The win improved Simpson’s record to 4-2 in district play and 17-7 on the season.
Junior High Games
In Junior High action the Simpson girls defeated East Rankin 34-31 in OT and lost to Hartfield 41-32. The Simpson boys defeated East Rankin 60-54 in Triple OT and Hartfield 47-46.
The Cougars will host Lamar School on Friday, February 1, with the 7th grade girls starting at 3 p.m. followed by the junior high girls, junior high boys, varsity girls, and varsity boys.
