Simpson’s softball team has become the Comeback Queens with two come-from-behind walk off wins in the Overall State AAAA MAIS Tournament. The Lady Cougars had a walk off win against Copiah on Saturday 3-2. They saved their best for last. Trailing 7-1 against Oak Forest, the Lady Cougars roared back to take a walk off 9-8 win. The Lady Cougars will play Jackson Prep on Wednesday at 6:30 p.m. at the Jimmy Clyde Sportsplex in the first game of the best of three series and will play at Jackson Prep on Saturday starting at 2 p.m.
