It is with great sadness that the family of Tonka Stacy Sapp, aged 51, of Quitman, Mississippi, announces that he passed away peacefully on September 21, 2024. Born on June 26, 1973, Tonka was known for his humorous nature and the joy he found in simple pleasures like cooking, listening to music, traveling, and spending time with his family.
Tonka leaves behind a loving blended family, including his wife Teresa; sons Isaac, Aaron, Timothy, Joey, and Patrick; and daughters Janae’, Alexis, and Elizabeth. He was a proud grandfather to 24 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. He also leaves behind a brother, Craig, and sister, Denise, along with many nephews and nieces. His passing was preceded by that of his parents, Thomas Stacy Sapp and Stella Ruth Hilbun. A memorial service will be held at a later date to honor and celebrate Tonka’s life.
