Lawana Thompson will be the Alderwoman for Magee Ward 2 after a narrow victory over Joe Worrell according to unofficial results. A total of 93 ballots were cast which included 82 election day votes, 7 absentee ballots, and 4 affidavits. The race was tied at 41 to 41 after counting election day votes on Tuesday August 15.
