Cougars win MAIS overall state championship

The Simpson Cougars won the Overall State Championship Saturday afternoon defeating Jackson Prep 45-32. The Cougars defeated Oak Hill Academy in the opening round 49-44, Christian Collegiate Academy 59-28 in the quarterfinals, and MRA in the semifinals 73-53 to advance to the championship game.
