Mendenhall Tigers wide receivers Walter NoNo Owens and Nick Williams. Owens led all receivers in receptions with five catches for 42 yards. Williams added two catches for 31 yards bringing, his career yardage total over 1,000. The Tigers defeated Laurel 13-10.

The Magee Trojans have had a rough two weeks. The Trojans lost to the Florence Eagles last Friday night 43-7. The Trojans have struggled on both sides of the ball in back-to-back weeks giving up over 30 points in each of the contests and only managing 7 points during that time span.
