James Walker, center, was sworn in as the new police chief of the Mendenhall Police Department on March 5. Walker is a retired MHP Officer and is looking forward to the task of running the department. The City of Mendenhall has welcomed James Walker as its new Chief of Police, following the retirement of Candy McCullum.
