The Magee Mayor and Board of Aldermen discussed and accepted a new right of way ordinance for the city as the city did not have one in place. It will remain on file two weeks before presentation for final approval. Veterans Day parade reinstated

When the Magee Mayor and Board of Aldermen met Monday, September 15, 2025, Mayor Mark Grubbs announced that the city will reinstate the Veterans Day Parade.
The parade will be held on Tuesday, November 11. Grubbs is working locally with Holly Williams and the Army National Guard in Hattiesburg, MS, to plan the event.
